About This Project Medical misdiagnosis is silent until it isn’t.This project shares real stories of those affected by medical misdiagnosis to raise awareness, seek accountability, and remind others they’re not alone. I come from a small town in India with no medical specialists, no school counselor, and little access to the right diagnosis. This began when my own family faced repeated negligence especially during my mother’s cancer journey and how my grandmother passed away because of it.That’s why I started Project Stories behind Misdiagnosis.

Some real cases

Fatigue or Tumor?A teen girl was told her tiredness was "just stress." Months later, she collapsed and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Earlier testing might have saved her.
Just a Fever?A young boy with repeated fever and pain was told it was viral. It turned out to be leukemia. Time lost due to assumptions.
